About
B.W.E Ink is an independent publication launched in June 2024 by Bryan Ebbs.

Bryan Ebbs, the creative force behind B.W.E. Ink, is a South Shore Massachusetts native. His works are deeply rooted in the nature, history and music that have surrounded him throughout his life. His art has been influenced by the emotion & creativity of Van Gogh, the natural beauty of Monet and the realism of Rockwell.
With over 20 years experience as a metal fabricator, Bryan’s skills range from ornamental ironwork to repairing heavy trucks and construction equipment. Additionally, Bryan served several years as an engineer in the Army National Guard including a year deployed to Iraq early on in the conflict. Reflecting on how his service overseas influenced his artistic style, Bryan said “the contrast in the ugliness and beauty that life’s experiences offer provided a juxtaposition of stark realities and hidden beauties” that created a unique and captivating perspective in his art.
Bryan recently shifted his focus exclusively to creating and sharing his art. He began sketching with his grandfather at the early age of 5 and is self-taught. As someone who constantly thirsts for knowledge and new experiences, Bryan has dabbled in mixed media art, acrylics and Japanese sumi-e ink. However, he excels in line & wash watercolor paintings of landscapes and architecture, focusing predominantly on historical landmarks around Plymouth where he currently resides.

His art has been featured in advertisements for locally made goods, t-shirts, tattoos and even a mural at his training facility during army basic training. He also creates custom concert posters and album covers for local musicians. Bryan was a resident artist at the Fall River Art Association and had his works presented at several of their gallery showings.

Drawing inspiration from his transition “from the trades and trenches to paints and pens”, Bryan hopes to instill the belief in his two young children that one can always forge their own path and redefine themselves. Bryan’s creations are a testament to his
